What is the problem with internet explorer 9 and yahoo avatars?
I am running windows 7 and internet explorer 9 and suddenly cannot preview my yahoo avatar (is now a blank white window) or change it. What caused this and how can I resolve it?
Thank you!
@tiny – I get the same results with Chrome and Firefox guess it is Yahoo issues once again…

admin answers:
Yahoo is having some issues at the moment. Something similar happened last week and they got it fixed pretty quick. Nothing to do but wait.

I have Windows Internet Explorer provided by Yahoo! Is there a way to get a regular version downloaded?
I hate the “provided by Yahoo!” part of this. I can’t download the regular Internet Explorer 8 because it says I have a newer version of IE. If I delete the whole IE off my computer, I would need a way to get on the internet to download it right?

admin answers:
Melissa,
Hi, this is Feran with the Internet Explorer Outreach Team.
When you remove IE8 you should be reverted back to the previous Internet Explorer version you were using (IE7 I would guess).
Then you can download the official Microsoft IE8: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/internet-explorer/default.aspx?ocid=ie8_sm_b
Hope thsi helps!

Sharon asks…
Internet explorer opens with:IE is currently running with add-ons disabled hos can I fix that?
A few days ago I installed iTunes and iPod program into my computer, after that, every time I open the internet, instead of my home page, it opens on a page that tells me that Internet Explorer is currently running with add-ons disabled. I already try the System restore but it didn’t work. Can anybody help me?

admin answers:
Try to enable the add-ons. On your Internet Explorer menu, click Tools –> Manage Add-Ons. Then select the Enable option for each add-on.
Note: It sometimes happens that add-ons are added by viruses. When your Anti-virus software detects them, it automatically disables those add-ons. Make sure that those add-ons are valid add-ons from iTunes or iPod programs.

How do I get my internet explorer to quit shutting down?
Everytime I close a tab or close a window everything I have open through my windows internet explorer closes. I mean everything. Even if it is minimized it closes. Sometimes it will close if I go to a site and the site won’t open. Like if I go somewhere to get new screensaver then it closes. I’ve never had this problem before but this is a new Dell 1420 and it has vista but my wife’s 1521 has vista too and it doesn’t do it. Please help.

admin answers:
Seems like this is an IE problem, try to clear out temporarily files by going to Tools>Internet options>press delete on the general tab>then delete all browsing history if possible. If this won’t work go again to Tools>Internet options>advanced tab>then under browsing on the settings window, uncheck enable 3rd-party browser extensions then restart computer. If this still don’t work, then you really have to uninstall/reinstall IE.
